Running and Thinning(lol)
I am currently 33lbs lighter~Whoo hooo! I have been at this journey for quite some time now but only just became serious serious serious about it in January of this year. Once I made up my mind to stop saying and start doing, that is when I saw results. Pounds dropped, inches fell and my self-esteem rose. I feel better than I have felt in a very long time.
I also....drum roll please......can run 2 miles non stop!!!!!!!!!! 2 miles may not seem like a great deal to a runner but to me that is like a mini marthon. I have always wanted to be a runner. Running is not only relaxing but it is a good source of cardio. Being able to do a mile non stop is something I've been trying to do since I became serious about my journey. Man does it feel uber good to finally be able to do so. It is seriously a method to the madness of running. Let your mind go and your feet lead you. I find that when I am thinking to much about the fact that I am running it is easier for me to find excuses to stop. But when I can get a good focus on something, I am able to continue through the lack of breath, heat, thirst and sheer pain! Pain from my shins that is:)
